Headlight won't stay down.
The left headlight on my 2000 FRC won't stay down all of the sudden.
The motor works as it raises when I trun on the lights. But when I trun them off it goes down the ncomes back up about half way and I have to wind it down manually. Any ideas on how to correct this?

i ran into this on a customers 00 c5, i initialy checked the headlamp switch wich was good, it turned out to be an internal short in the headlamp motor, i replaced the motor assembley and it fixed the problem.

Thanks for the reply. Is there anyway I can check it before I buy a new one? Also it appears to be an easy swap. Anything I should know before diving in?
