Z06 Wheels and Tires Sizing
All,
I'm thinking about running Z06 18x10.5s all around and use 295/30/18 (25" OD) and 315/30/18 (25.5" OD) for front and rear. The *tire manufacturer* specifications allow 295/30/18 to be mounted onto a rim with a maximum width of 10.5" and allow the 315/30/18 to be mounted onto a rim with a minimum width of 10.5". The combination will be used for street driving and looks are unimportant.
So, has anyone tried this combination ? If so, what's your impressions about handling ? Will the difference of 0.5" in OD necessitate changing the setting in PCM (or other control module(s)) adjustment ? Also, is there such a thing as 18x11/11.5 Z06 Motorsport wheel ?

The only issue I see might be the clearance of 295/30's up front.
I know many people have used the 285/30/18's on the front with no problems. That's not to say the 295's won't work, just that I've not seen it done before.
The 1/2" height difference should be ok.
Be a pioneer...tell us how it works out. :D
