Default Intake and Computer Mod's

I have a C5 coupe and am looking to put a air intake and/or a computer chips
in. Can anyone tell me if this is worth it and what they would recommend.

Thanks :auto:

Check out my signature. I picked up about 40 RWHP with the dyno tune. 342 is about the same as a stock Z06. You will definitely feel the difference. The car is a rocket.
Have fun!

Try the Vararam intake & the LS1 Edit Program.

You can't really change chips on a C5. But, as the other have stated, you can take your C5 to a good tuner and they can update you computer to optimize your setup. Do all your mods first to get the most gain from the dyno tune. A Blackwing or Vararam are good choices. I have a Blackwing and am going to add a new air duct this weekend. I have been using a G-Tech to gage performance gains, but isn't really accurate enough to detect small HP gains. I am hoping to take in my C5 this summer to get it dyno tuned (sounds like a good birthday persent, huh!).

I would start with the the air intake. My preference is the Donaldson Blackwing (around $200). Outside of exhaust and a Blackwing, I wouldn't touch the car unless you are going to dive off the deep-end and go FI or H&C. JMO.

Most bang for the buck is air intake as mentioned by others, and programming. You will want to do mufflers also, not so much for
HP but for looks and sound.
