Very complete LG header writeup now available
I've been reading most of these header threads, and I don't have the experience or knowledge to comment on the differences, and performance.
I will also add I do not have LG headers, I had to use what I know is a lesser header (SLP) due to the fact my car is new and my specific dealer would only confirm this header under my extended warranty.
What I do know alot about and would like to comment on is customer service. I have spent all of my working life either in a customer service or sales roll. So I know its not always easy to please someone regardless of what you do, and certainly you cannot please everyone all the time.
That said what you can do is be persistant and treat everyone the way you would want to be treated. Occasionally you will find people will try to mislead your customers, or just may in all honesty try to sell thier product by putting down another. Thats is a terrible way to sell. I call it the their product stinks so mine wins be defualt approach
Now to my comment Lou G. who I do not know or have ever done business with has been very consistant, persitant, and confident in his product, LG headers. And while I may not be able to follow all the technical data that has been presented, I can clearly see that this LOu G. is a class act. He has politley answered all questions and does not hesitate to step up and answer for his headers or his company's service policys and record.
From what I read I gather Lou is working his butt off trying to service his customers as well as answer his critics. And after reading many threads I don't see much to critize him for, he should be applauded for his guts and determination in the face of many unkind or uninformed posts.
So from an unbiased third party, commenting on LG's commitment to corvette's and customer service, I say he is way above the crowd.
Lou, I know you don't know me from a hole in the wall, but I'd like to say thanks for your input to the forum, and I hope to someday be a customer myself someday:cheers:

Gonzo,
Thanks for the response. I didn't know if anyone noticed the effort that we put forth to try to make our product trouble free, and effective.
We are still not done. And we will always try to improve.
thanks again.

I can't seem to reach your page. I get a "There is no website configured at this address." message when I click your link. I tried typing the addy in, but had no luck there either. Hope you get it all straightened out soon. I'm looking forward to seeing the LG write up.
Scott
Thanks for the great writeup. My LG long-tubes are scheduled to arrive today by UPS from Swain Tech who applied their White Lightning cermanic coating.
I will be installing them over the Easter four day weekend. :hurray: :hurray: :seeya

The reason I keep coming back to LGM for my perf mods is you do all your R&D in-house and are able to back up your products with facts & great service.
BTW, Sudeep at Enterprise Car Rental, next to your shop, just gave me a good three day rate for April 14-17. So, I'll leave my C5 at your shop Weds., the 14th, and drive off with a Enterprise rental. Then, Saturday, the 17th, I'll return the rental car that morning, walk over to your shop & watch Jeremy work his tuning magic on my C5 and drive home in my C5 very :D equipped with a new G5X-3 Cam Pkg. & Vig2800. Just thought some of your long distance, yet still in Texas customers (like me) would like the Enterprise car rental info.

Mods are in the sig, but I went from 332/336 to 354/364 with a set of headers, tuning, and an LS6 intake. Gained ~20hp and ~30 ft-lbs overall after tuning. I was hoping for 360 rwhp, but I'm VERY happy nevertheless. :yesnod:
