Well, I just got back from Strope's Speed Shop in Washington PA. My baseline Dyno is 317.8 HP and 336.4 TQ on a stock 01 six speed Coup with a Blackwing. Basically, I'm pretty happy with those numbers and the fact that they will only get better. I ordered Stainless Works 1 3/4 headers, Random Cats and X Pipe and Strope's will do the install when they come in. Bill had a set of SW headers he had ordered for another customer and I went over them visually. All I can say is that they look like jewlery! First class workmanship, welds look very professional. I can see why SW offer a lifetime guarantee. I'll post my numbers as soon as the system is on the car. If they run like they look I expect to be a very happy camper :D
Re: Baseline Dyno & Stainless Works Headers (JayMullen)
Somebody tell me how to post pictures
First of all, , on the headers. Posting pictures: You need to go to an internet provider that can post them. Then you upload them, provided you have them in digital form, to the provider, and they will have a url for the pictures. Copy that url into the post here on the forum and the pictures will come up. :)
Re: Baseline Dyno & Stainless Works Headers (skip89)
Very interested in the results, if you can post pictures of the whole setup that would be great..
:iagree:
I am looking forward to the results as well.
To post a picture, you need a host site you can link to. Does your internet provider allow you to have a web site, if so then you can load the pictures up to there and then link to them from here.
Re: Baseline Dyno & Stainless Works Headers (JayMullen)
Watch out ... once you start modding, it becomes a disease, and you will always want a little bit more.
So, are you going to get new mufflers to go with your new Stainless Works headers & intermediate pipes? The SW system is very nice. I have it on my black vette, and I'm very happy with it.
Actually I think I'm going to stay with the stock cat back. At least until I see how loud the interior exhaust sound is. If it's not too loud, I might go for the quad oval stingers ;)
Re: Baseline Dyno & Stainless Works Headers (JayMullen)
Lets see some #'s!
I've got SW headers, Hi-flows and X-pipe along with my GHL Magnums and Blackwing. I'd like to see your numbers and how they compare to mine. Sadly, I did not get a baseline dyno, so I'm left guessing the gains.
