We perform C5 gear swaps regularly at Livernois Motorsports. Just give a call to one of our sales reps if you have any questions or if you wish to set up an installation date.
Or try AP Engineering. There is a very good thread on this on ls1.com.
Although Livernois/Detroit Speedworks is primarily a mustang house they are throwing an "open house" for Vette owners on the 24th. 2 dyno runs for $50 is not bad. I do not know how long they have had an edit licence but that is cool.
Evidentley AP has alot more ls1 tuning/wrenching experience but they are pricey and "could not install my LGM headers" (!?-WTF) BUT I heard they screwed up somebodys LGM install pretty bad-maybe thats why they would not do mine. I will likely be leaning towards Livernois ("Greg" - I think is the tuner).
I'll talk to the tuner at the open house and maybe even tune.
I'll be sure to report back on the various LS1 sites as Detroit tuners are very far and few between.

I have been trying since Nov. to get my TC installed and after saying you could do the install you don't even answer my emails to set up a installation date. How can you say you want work when you won't even answer customers? In my last email I asked for at least a reply so I could look elseware if you were too busy and you still did not reply.
Actually, I've had an LS1 edit license for several years at my old shop (Detroit Speedworks, Inc.) as well as having worked with another company to develop our own in-house tuning software that is far more compreshensive. Everyone is welcome to come by on the 24th and see the place first hand.
Mr. Nunez, sorry for the delay... I will get you an install appointment date on Monday. I have been far too busy to even come close to keeping up with number of phone calls and emails I get personally. Unfortunately, I sometimes need to choose between taking/returning a call or getting a car tuned that is sitting on my dyno. I will see to it that one of our guys contacts you on Monday. My apologies again.

HAHA. That person who had that bad experience was me. It was a mess for sure, but I got to a dealership (couldnt go over 30 mph), had the problem fixed and AP Engineering took care of the bill to fix the problem without hassle. I can not hold anything against them for that.
They have new managment now and all new people in shop. From what I hear, from Lou G. at LGM, Chris (the owner of APE) and his crew really know their stuff!
There have been many changes for the better here at AP-Engineering. From a revamped pricing structure to better customer service, ie returning e-mails and calls on the same or next day.
We have the best tuner in Michigan, having tuned over 700 LS1 cars and trucks. Our tuner does development work for LS1 edit, he currently has 3 generations ahead of anybody else. He is also subcontracted by GM to tune for them. In addition he is the exclusive tuner for a supercharging company.
Our engine builder/ owner has built over 400 LS1 motors since 98, with over half of them being all out race motors. While he was at Katech he built all the C5R race motors that won lemans, daytona, ect. We currently have the 3rd fastest ls1 in the country and hope to be faster very soon.
We can do a C5 gear swap this week, i sent you a pm.
If anybody has any questions , please do not hesitate to call.
