Outer tie rod for racing application
My friend and neighbor works for Delphi Steering Gear plant in management. He said they had just made fifty sets of prototype outer tie rods for racing application for the Corvette Assembly Plant and had just sent them to the plant. The rubber boot is a lighter color and it has a grease fitting on the bottom. That's about all we know about them and just wondered if anyone has heard anything about these or any speculation on their use. I don't race but might try a set on my FRC when they make another run on these parts. Thanks in advance for your input as I will not be at the computer for long but will be checking back from time to time.
