Starting issue... Ignition or Starter???

Starting issue... Ignition or Starter???
THis JUST started yesterday...
I get in the car, push the clutch pedal in, insert the key, turn the ignition and NOTHing... For about a second. Then it cranks over and fires right up... Is this a starter solenoide? A relay? What in gods name could it be?

Check you're starter safety switch in the clutch pedal.
It's possible there may be either dirt on the contact areas or the switch is loose. This would be where i would start.

Turned out to be the new powered sub unit I installed... I was running both the constant power for the MP3 player and the sub box on the same circuit.
For now, I just unplugged it. However, TOmorrow night I'll make a new hod of cables and run a designated (ANd fused) circuit from the battery.
