6 spd rattle in first gear
Ever since I've had my C5 when I start out in 1st, there is a rattle that sounds like it is coming from the shifter area. I have heard this in other C5s also. I got under the car today and I think I see what it is. The O2 sensors have a metal cap on the ends where the wires attach, and the caps are loose. I was wondering if anyone has come up with a fix for this. Can I take some muffler wrap and put it around these caps to stop the rattle without affecting the O2 sensors? :confused: :seeya
