Default Kooks headers install question.

I'm putting Kooks on in about a week. I currently have SW headers with RT cats and the cats hang down below the tunnel about 3/8" which is not significant. I have seen a picture of the Kooks installed from underneath. They look like the cats hang pretty far below the tunnel but I'm not sure if that was camera angle distortion. My car is lowered about 1 1/2" so I am concerned that I might leave the cats on the other side of the speed bump at the local ShopRite. Anybody have a picture of them installed showing the clearance or can anyone confirm they fit up there pretty snug?

Why are you getting rid of the SW headers?

Unless your name is Bo or Luke Duke and you live in Hazzard County where Rosco or Ennis are always in hot pursuit and you have to make a 100ft. jump to get away, I wouldn't worry about ground clearance. The system is tucked up really well. Nick "Kook's Headers"

I have my Z06 at the limit of the factory bolts, which is about a 3/4-7/8" drop. I have heard some scraping when I did cross one speed bump. You just have to becareful and aware. I love the performance gain.

I'm putting them on another car. I may keep them if the kooks look like gmblacks when they are installed. Or I may have to do some serious rework of the mounting. :U

 Nick, I AM concerned about ground clearance. I currently have about 3 1/2" of clearance ant my rockers and I have rocker rails installed. In NJ the roads are terrible and I'm always steering around raised manhole covers and speedbumps. The other day I came off the highway and hit an unmarked speedbump :mad at 25mph. I thought I ripped my tranny out, then the cats. The rocker rails had some scraping, but that was it. I can assure you, If I didn't have the rails on the cats would have been history. These cats hang down at least 1" below the tunnel and it looks like from the picture at least 1 1/2". Not good for lowered vehicles.
