You can get chatter. Depends on the mileage. If it has low mileage and chattering, there could be a problem. If you bought it used, it could have been from the previous owner's driving habits. Chatter usually is a result from some spots on the flywheel. On most flywheels you pull the flywheel and resurface it. On the Vette you buy a new one, it comes as an assembly. I would have the rpms up a little more when you take off and you might find it smooths out. The clutch lasts a long time. A little chatter is not a concern.

I have the same issue with my 98 Vert, which only has 20K miles on it...but at higher rpm takeoffs I do not notice the "rattle" or "chatter".
Guess I'll go for a heavyduty cluth when I save up for my supercharger and get rid of the issue :cheers:
