"Reduced Engine Power" message staying constantly on DIC: Help?
Ok, still finishing the h/c swap process. Had to charge the battery, no problem, cranked car for for seconds, reconnected plug wires and she started, and there was much rejoicing, yay...
Sounds like a Sherman tank right now, heh, and shaking like crazy at idle. At first I was surprised to see no "check engine" light, let the car reach operating temps and shut her down, rechecked fluids, checked for leaks, the usual.
Started engine again and this time the check engine light did come on, after getting back to op-temp took her out for a gentle 2-3 mile walk. Parked it for the night.
Went to get a read with LS1 Edit this morning, during and afterwards the Reduced Engine Power message came and has stayed on, even now with the engine off and the key out, even hours later now. When the key is in the on position ALL the lighted symbols are on, and the tach does not register anything when the engine is on.
I have ordered EFI-Live V6 and it will be here tomorrow, but...
Anyone know why this message is coming up, and/or how I can get rid of it?
Any info appreciated, thanks...
