TEMP CONTROL
HELLO,,,I have been reading about lowering your engine temp and was wondering if someone can explain and tell me were to get the LS-1 edit..or is it better to use the Vinci kit...THANKS,,,,,NEW C-5 owner....

My suggestion is to find a local Corvette shop with LS1 and have them reprogram the fans. Much less than buying a controller (which I did). LS1 edit is pretty expensive too. Should put in a lower temp thermostat too.

Vinci Performance has the '04 and early thermostat controllers and the fan controllers. I recommend a t-stat (170F) and a fan controller. THey are easy installs and the fan controller is adjustable.
My car would run 229F before the fans kicked. Now they kick on at 180F. The stock t-stat opens at 192F.
