What is that supposed to mean,, the way it looks? Or does it handle different? I think what he meant by "what are the affects" was Does it affect the handling of the car in a negative or positive way,, or not at all? I don't know since I don't have aftermarket wheels,,
But generally if you go up in rim size but keep the same width and outside tire diameter you should have minimal speedo error and slightly tighter handling do to less tire sidewall. Also the ride will seem slightly ruffer do to the less sidewall also. If you go to a wider tire,, it will oubviously stick better. Hope that helps alittle.
Thanks for all the input. I am particularly interested in knowing the differences in handling and cornering with respect to changing wheel size for autocross.
