I took my C5 in to get 3.73s and a converter put in with a shift kit. Then the dredded call, (Your clutches show excessive wear and the linings are seperating and come off in some places.) It felt fine when it went in, but How do you argue with someone that has you car on a lift and your tranny in pieces. I don't think their lieing but that wasn't figured into this summers budget. I was thinking about it and it looks like my stock run flats had more life in them than my tranny and now will have to role a little longer. i guess they built me what they call a level 2 race tranny. Billet servos, rear plananatary and some kind of 1 to 2 vacuum 3 stage shift. I didn't catch what else because I'm still in money shock.
For anyone wanting to know the only mods I currently had was a blackwing, and It has seen the track twice and 170 MPH once.
Now that I played my  :nopity i will let drop and get ready to try and figure out ls1 edit that I just ordered so I can really tear stuff up. any suggestions on what to change first. Going to the track the 18th
Since you will now have a beefed up tranny, I would remove torque management. GM puts torque management in so that the PCM can limit the torque output as way of keeping the stock A4 from self destructing
consider torque management gone. With my luck lately I hope Ls1 edit doesn't give me any problems. I was curious if anyone could tell me some good shift points and a where to move the rev. limiter to.
Re: Another dead A4 with only 36k (SwissVette_Joe)

Not sure if I understand your question correctly, but to clarify, Vince Stella is a veteran member of the forum here. His username is VStella. If you use the search function, you'll find plenty of threads that he's contributed to regarding gears, auto tranny's, shift kits, etc :)
......I got the informations (VStella....). Otherwise I agree with MTI427 to see Chuck Johnson/FLP as the Company to go for the ultimate in strengthen up this C5 A4-Tranny.
Well - for the time all is till pretty sound and healthy....but that could change all by a sudden tomorrow !! This Forum is more than great.
Thanks again Guys !! for your speedy replies to me.
