I had this posted over at general discussion and thought I would ask you tech people for some help also. I put on new Brembo rotors and painted my calipers over the winter. I also had the brackets chromed and added SS pad covers. I took it out for a spin and found that the caliper/rotor on the front passenger side is not wearing correctly. The rotors had a cad wash on them. On three of the four rotors the cad wash is completly gone and on the front passenger rotor only have the cad wash is gone. This leads me to believe that a piston is stuck.
Am I correct in assuming that the piston is stuck?
Is there an easy way of freeing this up with out pulling it back off?
Try jacking the front end up and have someone hold the brake while you try to turn the wheel in question. That would at least let you know if it is holding at all.
I'm thinking about getting the same Brembo rotors because I like the gold color (I have a black coupe / black Z06 rims). Do you think the rotors are worth it?

All of the gold color wears off except for the hub area of the rotor. I enhanced the gold hub area with some spray anodize gold paint form Eastwood and followed with clear rustoleum, being careful not to get any of the paint on the wear surface of the rotor. I was hoping the the gold color would stay, but it didn't. I will post some pics
