New Corsa Touring
Installed the Corsa touing with tiger shark tips. Sounds great but poping or back fire through tail pipes. put about 100 miles little less back fire but still there. Any ideas? :confused:

Try an X-pipe. Find a used one if you can.
I have the Tourings too and when they were new, they popped so loud. I bought a Bassani X-pipe and it softened the popping a little bit. Only until I installed the Predator programming did it go away. I like a little popping though and I think V8s always do have some popping when you let off the accelerator.

The x-pipe will get rid of 95% of the popping. Also, the Tourings will sound more mellow at idle.
As a small bonus, according to some dydno tests by another Forum member, the x-pipe will give you about 3-5 more horsepower!

An X pipe will quiet most of the poping, however one my set up (long tubes, no cats, and corsa indys) it still pops. I like it.. Nothing more intimidating that desceleration poping.

The X Pipe will definitely help with the motorboat idle.
I'm running corsa indys with x pipe and LT Headers. I originally started with just the corsas. sounded awesome at cruise and WOT, but of course, the idle did get a little annoying. SO after 1 year, i threw on some TTS Headers and X pipe! Still love it, and the idle is a more deeper rumble! Cruise remains the same, and WOT just screams! :thumbs:

I have the Corsa Indy's and I had the popping sound as well. I added the Corsa x-pipe and the popping was reduced about 95% and the gurgling at idle is gone as well. The new overall sound is awsome!!!

All of Corsa cat-backs have that sound. I have the Ti set-up I think it sound incredible at WOT and the pops just let people know that there's a monster under the hood.

The poping will be cut down significantly when you put an x-pipe on but it will not go away entirely :nonod:
