Default can the speed sensor in diff be removed w/o dropping diff or subframe?

I just want to know in case my VSS is bad in my diff.

the sensor is on top of the diff case. It would be tough since you might not be able to see what your hands are trying to do.

In this pic, the round black housing on top is the VSS (and you will also see Mike Norris - known as "The Man" ) :thumbs:

i know where it is. Its just that the diff i put in had a questionable VSS. Im just wondering if there is enough clearance to get it out w/ the diff in the car

thanks for your time, i just need to know if its possible to get it out w/o dropping the cradle down. Like i said, i put a diff in today but the VSS is questionable but i didnt really wanna swap it out w/o trying it first. Hence my question.
