gear question ?

have anyone did a gear change to taller gears had an increase in power instead of a decline :confused: :confused:

could you rephrase the question, using different words than "power" and "taller" ?

i'm sorry fellows what i meant was for example most people who go from 342's to 390's see a decline in horsepower. i was asking if anyone had a increase from changing to a higher gear,like the 342 change to 390 thanxs didn't mean to confuse anyone :rolleyes:

more radical gear ratios will always show a loss on the dyno; but will be quicker in the 1/4 mile (assuming you recover lost traction). Unless you win races solely by comparing dyno slips... don't let it bother you.
