Brake Job...
I getting ready to replace my rotors, w/ Bendix drilled and slotted, the pads w/ Rotex Kevlar pads, remove and paint the calipers and replace the rubber brake lines w/ Goodridge steal braided lines. Any advice to make this job go smoothly... :auto:

I have 13 pages of illustrated instructions I can fax you on the rotor & pad replacement. Send me an IM & I'll fax them to you. A couple suggestions. Get a 1/2" breaker bar & a 21mm socket if you don't have it. The bolts that hold the caliper mounting bracket are tough to remove. You'll need a lot of leverage. Also, some Liquid Wrench will be helpful in removing the rear rotors. Overall it's a pretty easy job. You should consider changing the rotors first & seasoning them for a couple weeks with the old pads before installing the new pads. That way the old pads will pick up the zinc from the rotors. You'll also need some red LocTite.
