Default Cam only LS1

I can not remember seeing this posted here before so I thought I would throw it out. Who has the highest HP cam only LS1 on the forum? All the bolt-ons (headers, pulley, etc...) OK but no headwork, and must be LS1 heads.

I am about to find out were I am at in a few weeks after my install. There is a 2000 Vert here in DFW running a similar cam to what I will be with intake, FLP headers and cats. He ran 397 rwhp. I know there are cars above that by just dropping the cats.

I believe 400 rwhp will be about maxed out.. I'm sure a few may go slightly over.
Wait till some start using those new big ole T-Rex Thunder racing camshafts.. I know some will be breakin the 400.

several have hit the 420 to 430rwhp range (usually no cats or even open header dyno) but most fall into the 400 to 415rwhp range.....cam only commonly means with headers, cats, exhaust etc.

We have a F-Body customer with the following mods:

- TTP Stage III Cam Package (Equalizer Version 1 Cam)
- LS6 block with stock LS6 heads
- Kooks 1 3/4" LT Headers w/ offroad y
- ASP U/D Pulley
- Meziere Electric Water Pump
- LSX 78mm Intake
- Moser 12-bolt with 4.11 Gears
- All the minor bolt-ons except bellows

Pre-intake he dyno'd in at 432rwhp during the winter air. We just re-baselined him at 425rwhp the other day and then we swapped on the LSX. He made 438rwhp and gained steady across the board from the LSX. This is with no dyno tricks, street driven car, all belts on. The 12-Bolt robs a lot of HP, on a stock rear we should see 450 no problem cam only.

In a LS1 headed car (241 casting) we just made 417rwhp with our Stage 3 package (Equalizer Version 2 Cam) Kooks 1 3/4" and ASP Pulley (Stock waterpump).

We have these packages available for installation only. The Stage 3 Package for the Y-Body includes:

- TTP "Equalizer" Camshaft
- Crane Dual Springs, Spring Seats, Titanium Retainers, Valve Stem Seals
- TTP Custom Chromoly Hardened Pushrods
- Double Roller Timing Chain
- Synthetic Oil/Filter Change
- All gaskets/bolts necessary
- Installation
- LS1 Edit Full Custom Dyno Tuning
= $2074.95 + Tax

You can give me a call at 973-340-4069 for more information.
