Help removing seat rails.

Help removing seat rails.
I bought a set of C5 base seats with power rails and I need to remove the rails to install them on another set of rails. The bolts are facing up and hard to get to, do I have to remove the seat foam to get to the bolt or is there another way.

You can remove the seat foam, that is the easiest method. But you can slip a box end wrench up under the foam to get onto the bolt head. It is a bit of a pain to do, but I have done it both ways.

I used an open end wrench for the 4 bolts holding the seat to the frame rails
wore mechanics gloves to hold down on the cuts on your hands
once you get the bolts broken loose you can turn with your fingers
kind of a pain but I would think better than messing with the upholstry
