Trannie problem saved by a TSB!!
yesterday I'm bedding in some brake pads, do a 100 to 50 mph, do a 80 to 40 mph, then cost off on the exit ramp.
then i can't move the shifter, i pull on it harder and it comes out of gear, i have to pull it hard to get it into 2nd, then the same move to 3rd, then it's stuck in 3rd gear.
I go to the dealer and it turns out there is a TSB on 3-4 shift fork failure (as described by the service writer). The dealer is "rebuilding" my trannie under the extended warrantee. :party:
I'll bet the "rebuild" is only fixing the shift fork knowing GM, I hope they replace the gaskets too.

Would this also manifest as difficulty in shifting into 4th? ONLY ever happens at the track (of course)...
