Decoding Leaf Spring #'s
I have two leaf springs with #'s stamped on them, no tags. One reads 1-7 22171750. The other one reads 1-8 22171757. I believe they are late model Z51 springs. Can anyone tell me what they are exactly and if the rear spring is for automatic or stick. :steering: :auto: :cheers:

This are casting numbers. I don't think there is an easy way to reference the casting numbers to determine what they are.
Do they have paper tags on them with part numbers? if not, the only way I know to check would be to either measure the stiffness of the springs, or compare the arc height to another set of know type.
