I recently added a transmission cooler to my C5 (NEW OWNER) and when I went to check the tranny fluid level I found that it is like an F-BODY...There is no dipstick. How do you add tranny fluid without having to go to the dealership?
1. raise the car so it's level and you can crawl under the back
2. start the car and get the transmission temp between 86 - 122 degrees F
3. once the temp reaches this level shift into each gear pausing for a second or 2 in each selection from P to 1 and back to P
4. With the engine still running and the transmission in Park remove the plug on the left side of the tranny pan and fill until fluid begins to overflow.
