Default who for H/C and headers ?

So many good vendors, I just can't decide. I'm looking for an installed package, and my top priorities are reliability, quality, and value. I can live with 20-30 rwhp less than the best. The goal would be a relatively flat torque curve, more than 380 rwhp, and excellent street manners. I'm thinking about LG motorsports, MTI, dynotech, and Lingenfelter.

Any advice or shared experience would be most appreciated.

I would go with stainless steel headers! A lot of member with ceramic coated mild steel are rusting...just my .02

Hey, Bri

I'm thinking af a couple days in Dallas with LGM, so that would be my recommendation. Just keep the cam reasonable if you have a yearly meeting with the smog *****, like I do.

No need for a major trip... order a package from a parts vendor and have Dragon's Breath, a Forum Tuner listed on the left, do the install and tune... He is in Knoxville and I heard good things on the board regarding his work....I have no first hand experience nor is this a paid endorsement... just a thought at 2:00am:cheers:

I don't think that you can go wrong with any of the forum tuners. They all have sufficient experience. I've been happy with Cartek, in my opinion there's no one better.

But from Memphis, Knoxville is almost as far as Dallas.

Love my TEA, Futral, Kooks setup very street friendly. Links in sig. PM me if you have questions.

Futral is not far from Baton Rouge. He has built some of the fastest LS1s in the country. Search for his work over at LS1tech.

Try calling AP Engineering in Clinton Twp, MI. They've got great head/cam packages for reasonable prices. They're a forum vendor. They also do complete installs with headers.
Great guys and great prices.
