Default Nitrous Question

Finally rode with a guy that had nitrous on his C5 and as you can guess, I GOTTA HAVE IT!

He had a direct port system and I really don't want to go that rout (yet). I have seen various setups and need to know what is best for a 50-75hp shot. I found a company that has a plate that fits between the TB and the intake manifold. One guy said to plumb it before the MAF and that is all I need to do....with just the Nitrous and no fuel. Others say to have it after the MAF and use a nozzle with a mixture. After a couple of hours searching...I am more confused than ever. Any help will be appreciated. I have the typical maods with nothing serious. Will I need to upgrade the heads? Bottom end?

Lots of info under the nitrous section but I prefer a wet system & NX Express brand. Go first class with all the safety stuff. General rule of thumb, is not more than 20Hp per cylinder which equates to 150 shot. I have done many 150 shots with no problems. My motor is all stock internally. Back off to 100 shot after the 342 gear change, can't hook up with a 150 shot. This is the short answer, go to the nitrous section for more info. ed

I would defiantely go with a wet system because after a few uses you will want to go bigger and faster. Nitrous Express and TNT both make quality wet systems with reliable power and can easily be adjusted from 50 hp to 150 hp.
