Just a bought a flywheel that is stock for my spec stage 3, is the flywheel balanced. I has drill holes in it already but holes were in differant place then the flywheel that was on the car.
just take it to a machine shop and make sure it is ZERO balanced. not worth the head ache to put it in and find out that it is off balance and have a vibration all the time......

Actually, you need to have the new flywheel/pressure plate assembly balanced to the OLD flywheel/pp assembly, IF you have a stock rotating assembly. The stock rotating assembly is externally balanced at the front with the damper, and at the rear with the flywheel, if neccesary. If you have just the flywheel zero balanced and the old assembly was offset balanced as a counter weight, you will have vibration. :smash:
I wouldn't trust a balanced clutch from SPEC if they gave it to me for free. Good clutches but often out of balance. Take it to the machine shop and have it Nuetral (0) Balanced....its worth the $20. The last thing you want is a vibration caused by an out of balance clutch.
