Just make sure you are trying to solve the right problem. The low pedal you were getting is very indicative of pad taper Vs brake fade or boiling the fluid. The pedal on my 97 would go so low I couldn't heel/toe down shift. Bled the brakes like mad at the track and it never got better. Went home and installed new pads without doing anything else and pedal was right back where it should be.
