I bought a High flow airbridge from a forum member. Great deal and awesome service The stock airbridge in my car has a port with some kind of sensor and plugs into the side. The new one dont have anything like it. Can I do without the sensor in there or do i have buy a different airbridge?

Do a little checking to make sure but...
I think earlier year cars had an IAT (Inlet Air Temp) sensor in the Air Bridge. At some point GM incorporated this sensor into the MAF so later year cars, like my 2004 for example, have the IAT in the MAF.
Search this forum because it seems like I saw an article somewhere about merging the IAT with the MAF but I can't remember where it was.

You'll have to drill the hole for sensor groumet to fit in. Then just plug the sensor back in place. Oh, disconnect the neg. side of the battery first. Almost all after market high flow air bridges are like the one you just purchased.
Re: Need Help and advice on High flow airbridge (spiderman)
If your air bridge came with a coupler I would suggest cutting a hole in the side of the coupler for your IAT and 02 sensors! That is what I did and it works fine. Doing so will allow you to keep the air bridge un-altered so, if you ever go to sell it, you can get more for it! I can take a pic if you need to see what I am talking about.

I would not install the sensor in the coupler. If anything I would relocate it to the front passenger side. IMHO the sensor should be located as far in front of the TB as possible but certainly not closer.
Having it further away will allow more time (nano seconds actually) to have the computer read the data regarding the air that is being pulled in and make necessary adjustments.
