I did this mod two years ago, using 02 Z06 pieces. There are three restrictors between the master and slave! Two are easy to get at, one is a PITA. #1: At the output of the master, in the line. Just remove the line and drill away. #3: At the input of the slave, again, in the line, remove and drill.
#2: the PITA: Halfway (or so) down the line there is a hard 90 degree bend. It's in there.
Before this mod I had the lazy clutch return, or sometimes NO return. I did the drill mod and installed a SPEC Stage II clutch and Fidanza flywheel, and no problems since. Did the mod fix the problem, or was it the clutch. :confused: I don't care, now I have a clutch which operates correctly and holds like a ****. I wouldn't do a clutch without doing the drill mod. JMHO.
