if you have stock heads there will be no need to flycut the pistons. And even if you had decked heads, that cam may not even require flycutting the pistons! .581 lift is close though! Go bigger!
:seeya matt and keith! getting cam, springs, pushrods and gaskets. matt, coming up to do install 8 may--dropping the car off at 7 a.m., gonna need a ride to rachels/circuscircus/juana/boobietrap/you pick. :)
the same guy who redid my n2o--larry at innovations. I'm pretty impressed with him and mike, stand up guys who seem to know their stuff pretty well. I was going to ask you over im but don't see you on, btw.
Glad it all worked out with the N20. I dont know Larry, but Mike is pretty cool! You're going to need to tune this right away after the install. Do they have LS1-edit? Let me know.
no they do not have ls1 edit. it's going to take all day saturday to get it installed so I'm not sure what to do about tuning--going to have to get back to sebring after install so was thinking of just sending my computer to texas speed, don't know when I'd be able to get back up for tuning/dyno. any idears?
The only TRUE way is to CLAY the heads........80 and 100 are very close, you don't have any room for valve train deflection.....should run a jomar, valve train brace on rockers.......worth the money........just my 2 cents....
