Couldn't find keys to Vette. Went out to garage & found 'em....in the ignition...turned to "accessories" position....after sitting for 2 weeks! Needless to say, my Delco Professional Platinum 78P/7YR Battery is completely dead...won't even take a charge. Purchased it from Delco retailer Dec '02, so I guess I would get a free replacement. Only thing is, I don't think they make the dry cell Platinum Batteries anymore. Any suggestions??
Thanks!
Do they sell other types of batteries as well? If they do, see if they'll give you credit towards another AGM, like the Optima or Exide. To be honest with you, I have been using lead-acid batteries for the last 30 years and I have never had one leak acid. What I'm trying to say is that it may not be the end of the world if you get a lead-acid battery. Just keep an eye on it periodically.
:banghead: :banghead: I would just upgrade :yesnod: I use to say my elco was good to go...it started getting weak and eventually died...took it in for core and it was starting to leak
Get the Optima so you won't have to worry about the Delco's leaking. GM is changing batteries for the C6 because of the problems in the Delco lead acid and glass mat batteries. :flag
