Default Z06 Sway Bar question....

I currently have the Z51 setup on my car... I'm looking to upgrade the sway bars to the Z06 Version. I've been trying to find out wether the frt/rr sway bars that come with the z51 setup are that much different from the Z06 version. Of course, the aluminum end links are going on as well....

if anyone can post any details regarding the mm difference between the two.

Thanks

There are some threads out there on this....but here are the numbers. It is my understanding that on 2000 and later the rear sway is the same on the Z51 Optioned Cars. I don't think you will notice much switching from Z51 to Z06....you may want to consider going to a T-1 or Hotchkis.

FE3 suspension: Front = 28.6mm dia, Rear = 23.6mm dia
FE4 suspension: Front = 30.0mm dia, Rear = 23.6mm dia

FE3 = Z51
FE4 = Z06

If you already have a 2002, all you would need to do is replace the front bar. You should already have the aluminum end links.

I just upgraded my stock FE1 to the Z06 bars and my '02 already had the aluminum end links, so just needed to change bars and put new bushings in.
