Default Dyno Results

I took my car to a Dyno this weekend here are my results. The car is running rich. Is there a way to estimate the HP I would gain from a tune?

Looks WAAYY rich if the AFR shown on the graph is correct. I would say IF that is correct you would gain at least 10-15rwhp from a good tune and getting your AFR set around 12.8 - 13.0 depending on other mods and weather you typically experience when driving. Off hand I would say the Vararam is helping to contribute to the rich condition as your computer has not been altered to take the additional airflow into the equation. If you were running lean you would get a bit of KR which would in turn show as a sudden drop in in the HP curve as well as soon as the computer pulled timing to get it under control to try and save the engine.

brialex42,

Thanks for the reply, It looks like I will be getting a tune once the headers are installed.

Hard to tell exactly how much hp you would gain from a tune, but probably 10-15. Your car is defintely running rich...Get the headers installed, then some tuning and you will probably pretty dang happy!
