Fuel gage problems help?
My 01 z06 is having a problem with the fuel gauge,it reads empty when it should read 1/2 tank.I fill the tank and only takes about 11 gals.Has any body seen this before?

you have the fuel gauge problem.Mine did it with 5600 miles on it the dealer couldn't figure it out had my car for 1 week.put two sending units in it, found out it was the jet pump and it was only running on the left tank and not filling the right one up to even it out.

You have the eratic fuel gauge problem. This is caused by corrosion on the sending unit due to the high sulphur contontent of some gas. GM has a sheet on it that describes the latest fix of reprograming the computer to change the sample rate. They did this on mine for no charge. I also put some Chevron Trichlor fuel system cleaner in the tank and have been using Shell gasoline. Since then I have not had a problem. Hope this helps you.
