Default Header Wars - Can I benefit?

I understand the issues re: 13/4 vs 17/8 on stock ci displacement motors but I am building a 427 NA @ 11to1 CR. Will the 427 perform better with 17/8 or should the 13/4 be considered also. Hope I can get some unbiased input. Thanks.

I can give you an unbiased opinion, but it's also uneducated. If you are looking for max power, I would think that the larger header would do best. However, the best place for an unbiased opinion would be a shop that has a lot of experience w/ stroker LS1's --- such as Cartek or MTI.

It would be cool to see the dyno graphs comparing the LG 1 3/4 headers on a 427 versus the 1 7/8 kooks.
