Thanks for posting those dyno graphs, I would rather compare those to others I have seen on on the Kooks, Dynatech, and LGM's for clarity.
It still appears though that, with personal biases aside, the LGMs produce more power.
I agree, so finally pulled teh trigger and ordered LGs. I'll be doing same day Dyno-LG Install-Dyno in the next couple weeks.
bgood: You got good gains, I'm sure you got sound improvements, and you saved money over the other systems. I'd call that a winning situation. Do you have a dyno chart that covers more of the lower rpm range?
I think the numbers people have in their head about the LG Headers are somewhat inflated also. (been looking at too many dynos out of Texas) Take a look at these links and compare them against other LT header systems and you will not see much of a difference. Marketing goes a long way...
OK, I appreciate your reply, but I am interested only in cold hard data and (no offense) not opinions about inflation.

Low end torque. Thats what I'm after.
If I could just figure out a way that I like to route the o2s wires, I'll be able to see first hand.
What i did was drill 2 holes in the torque tube cover at the very edge to pass wire ties through. T his way the wires were held up against the torque tube cover. On the driver side near header where they are close i tied them to the starter wiring out of the way. on the passenger side I tied them to the clutch line.

Unfortunately with an A4 there isn't any good way to represent the lower RPM ranges on a dyno. If I put a LG system w/cats on my car I would expect similar gains (maybe a little more). The results I've seen on stock LS1's w/LG headers have been close to the Dynatech system when you take into account of adding the cats to the LG system. The additional 3-7 HP/TQ I would have potentially gained from the LG setup IMO is not worth the extra $750 I would have paid for the system.
Again like I have said before I believe LG makes a good set of headers. I have never denied that. I was in the pursiut of the best bang for the buck header package and I have found that with the Dynatech SuperMAXX system.
Go ahead and venture one...because right now I don't run any. I have been following all the posts on this board trying to decide which to go with. With all the flaming going on of different vendors, it seems that the only thing to go on is the data posted.
Two quick notes. When comparing prices between LG and Dynatech, make sure you include the required O2 sims for the LG's in the price of comparison. Not knocking LG, but just something that can't be overlooked. Also, I think what we have here is a case where the car was tuned and tweaked before the header installation (please correct me if I am wrong on this). Most installations are tuned after the headers are installed with none before so it is hard to discern what was header and what was tuning. Again, not knocking any particular header system, but it's difficult to compare apples to apples when all we really have (at least from what I have seen to date for a nearly stock car) is fruit.

True... If you don't own LS1Edit/HpTuners, or plan to get your car tuned after the header install. I think almost everyone knows they will need some tuning after the install for best results, or at least hope they do.
My question is approximately how much rwhp can be gained on a stock C5 M6 will the Dynatechs and *no* tuning vs. Dynatechs with tuning??? I can't see spending over $500 for a full dyno tune if you are likely to only pick up a few extra hp.
