Any idea why I keep getting P0300?

Any idea why I keep getting P0300?
This code pops up every few days or so. It has been that way since I got my heads/cam. Any ideas on how I can fix this or what to check? I know its a misfire code but don't know where to start on fixing the problem. Thanks, Kaley

It is usually removed on cam or head and cam installs. Most larger cams will set this code. Just have it removed by who ever did your tuning.

P0300 engine misfire detected.
Cam shaft sensor is one cause.
Also vaccuum hose leaks, throttle body and intake manifold leaks, crankcase ventilation valve, fuel injector harness, low fuel pressure/ dirty fuel filter, spark plug or coil pack. Lots of stuff to test...you'll need a manual.

It's the cam. Have the code turned off with LS1Edit / HPTuners...

On the simple side,,,make sure that your coil packs wires and plugs are not damaged and the engine is not really missfiring.
