just got back from my 2800 mile trip from a+a corvettes. great guy and first class service and would recommend him without hesitation. he installed a ss3200 yank, flp trans ,3.42 rear and dynotuned and fixed what the other shop screwed up back in my hometown.after about 500 miles of driving back i just had to try it (thought it should be nicely broken in by now) . from a dead stop and hammering it i couldn't get traction for the first 30-40 ft and when it hit second i left another 10 ft of rubber . the converter drives almost like stock w/ the 3.42 gears.the flp trans shifts very quick and solid but not uncomfortable. in the pacific northwest where its cooler and damp on the roads this is about the limit for me . but if i could live down in the drier south i would certainly go wiyh the ss3600 and the 3.73 gears.now off to the track to beat my previous best of 12.90. btw there were 6 corvettes there being worked on . 2 were 427 supercharged w/over 600 rwhp. wow! i was a little disappointed on my 308 rwhp ,318 tq. dyno #s even with my headers ,hiflo cats, blackwing filter and magnaflow catback exhaust . this was what i did my 12.90 1/4 with. with andy's dynotune still only 312 rwhp and 322tq. i guess the a4's lose another 5 % over the 6 speeds.but its track times that coun tnot dyno #s
You should be seeing some 1.9 60' times at about 12.60's. Your right on with your comments on Andy. I don't think I have found a more honest and standup guy in my CF vendor dealings.
