can you recommend me the best camshaft package for the stoch c5 LS1 engine?

the best one is the one that matches properly to your goals and mods....gotta say what you want to accomplish with cam first...stock replacement or more hp or big hp for racing? ... Comp Cams

Defintely depends on your wants/needs. You can throw a monster cam like a Trex in there which is absolutely HUGE, gonna lope like a **** or you can go to the other extreme which is put a stock z06 cam in it, which will give ya a tad more power (not much, almost not even worth it to put that small of a cam in for the time required to do it) Or you can go mid-way and get something like a TR224/224 which is a nice cam, good gains, and not too big to be streetable. To quote somone from another ls1 site - and no offense to anyone - Cams are like biznoobies, some like 'em big some like 'em small. You have to figure out what YOU like.

call allen at futural motorsports. awesum power under the curve. i have the FM11 228 230 on a 114. perfect middle of the road cam
