Default Question about SLP Headers + highflow cats

Does anyone run this setup? if so how do you like it, any dyno sheets around? I can get a good deal on them for the headers and high flow cats for $1035 from Schoch Performance. Is this set-up worth it? and is the headers+cats and the install kit all that is needed for the Cats foward?

thanks alot,
Best,
Jason

btw if anyone else is interested in the system for this price let me know

I run the SLP headers with my stock cats. I love the SLP headers as they really helped me out on the top end. My car was very very flat up top before the headers. You should get the H-down pipe and install kit as well as you need to run some of the wiring through the headers and the kit has all the insulation and gaskets you will need.

Another forum member(MikieC) has the SLP headers and high flow cats. His stock internal motor has run a best of 11.70 at ATCO. He originally has the TPIS headers before switching to the SLPs and did run better at the track.

i have slp headers and hiflo cats also.you will need the slp hpipe to connect headers to hiflo cats without welding. my magnaflow xpipe would'nt fit back on so installed straight pipes to magnaflow mufflers.the cats are round and mine scrape on speed bumps at malls and airports. installation is a real bitch.the instuctions say 9.5 hours but figure on 12 hours for professional mechanic.plus side the car sounds way better and dropped from 13.04 to 12.90 1/4 with no tuning.i was at a+a corvettes for more installs and saw the lg longtube complete system on 2 vettes .they fit perfectly with no scraping problems on cats or/xpipe.. 4 hours less install time too. slp headers are excellent quality but if i had to do it again i would most certainly do the lgm complete exhaust system w/hiflo cats.
