I bought a DeWitt radiator back during the group buy back in March
finally got to install it last weekend .
The results.......car runs 3-4 degrees above thermosat (shimmed stock 182*)
with outside temp in the low 80's, mid 90's average 6-8 degrees. Stock radiator would run 10-12 above in the 80's and 15-20 in the mid 90's.
A nice side effect, trans runs cooler also.
I have the low speed fans set for 195 on,190 off and even in traffic
the car has yet to get over 195* All and all a worth while upgrade.
It is a good upgrade. The real acid test will be in a few months when temps here hit 115*. I run 190-192 with modified stock t-stat and fans now. Still waiting for a 180* t-stat (2004) to drop to the 185* range.
