My Corsa Exhaust should arrive the end of this week or the beginning of next week and I am looking for someone to install it. Can anyone recommend a dealer or installer in Atlanta that they would use again to install their exhaust system?
I would not reccomend a reg. muffler shop on my baby. I also have a 25th aniver. edit trans am, had it since 94, origional owner. I had an exhaust put on by my local muffler shop, can't say I was 100% happy with the install, back pipes didn't look exactly right.... I think a few extra bucks is work it, but if you know and trust your local shop I guess it would be o.k.
 I never thought I'd live to see the day that those two sentences were put together in reference to a Chevy dealers service department.
It's a VERY simple installation, the only tricky part is aligning the tips, but nobody will get that perfect the first time. Any shop with a lift can do it in under 30 minutes, just keep an eye on whoever does it, and make sure they know you're watching so they're extra careful not to do anything stupid.
It took me just a few hours to do my own on Rhino ramps. I had to cut the stock pipes with a sawzall to get them out, but then slid the Stingers right in.
trouble is, speak for yourself, Our local Chevy Service is awesome! I also know when I traded my 03, for and 04, my dealership took my corsa system with x pipe off the 03, replaced the stock and reinstalled the corsa system on my new car without a problem. SO DON"T BE A BONE HEAD
Thanks........I scheduled my install for next week with a local dealer after talking with the service manager about a number of Corsa exhaust installs they had performed. He said that he would even let me watch while the tech installed the exhaust.
I asked members of local corvette club for a recommendation and then went to that local muffler shop. $53. They cut the stock one off and then bolt on the new one. I don't think it's that big of a deal. It wound up that the recommeded shop was one that I had been using anyway. It has guys who have been working there for years and they are all very experienced and very knowledgeable on exhaust sytems, and more importantly the correct way to lift a Corvette off the ground.
Be careful of the dealers, my Local Chevy dealer was going to charge me $120 to do my Corsa install. I backed out and went to the local Midis shop. They did it in 30 minutes for $55. They also were going to charge me $60 to replace my fog light, saying it's difficult to get to. I searched the forum and found an easy 10 minute solution to replace it my self. These dealers like to take advantage whenever possible.
