HVAC stuck on heat
While driving my 2003 I noticed it seemed hot, especially since my top was down. Heat was coming from all the vents. Tried to turn the temp down to 60 but still heat. Called the dealer (Ramp Chev) but they said maybe I spilled something in the unit. They never heard of this problem. The next time I used the car it was OK. I went on line to AutomotiveForums and found a GM bulletin indicating that this occurs if the temp control is adjusted too quickly and customers should be told this is normal and is corrected by turning the key off and then on again.
