LPE Headers
Seems that the prices have dropped again on the 1 3/4" . I would like to run these without cats (no em. testing in Richmond) and just a straight pipe or cross over to the Borla Stingers.
Think they are a steel at $975? What other components would I need? Anybody running them without cat. converters? I have heard rumors of some problems with 304 SS street cars having problems with cracking (say it ain't so).
How much is a ceramic coating is going to cost and is it worth doing.
Might go with kooks.
Any advise would be greating appreciated.

I dont doubt the LPE is a quality header but unless you want to spend the money on LGs, the Kooks seem like a great option right now.
Last I checked, they were undercutting Stainless Works in price.

Yes, the headers are definately a steal at $975.00!! These are the same design header that we have been selling since they were introduced in 1997, and we have never had one set that had issues with cracks, or a failure of any kind!!
While I can't advise you to remove the cats, we do include a spare set of flanges with the headers, so if you decide to go that route, it will be easy to do

B&B makes them for LPE, so they are great quality .... and at $975 that is CHEAP
