Has anyone tried this? I need an xpipe and if this doesn't reduce power by much it might be nice. I have the Stingers, (which I love) but with the windows up the resonanace starts to annoy me a bit.
I've got these. At first I had just the loudmouths and that was nice but sounded to motorboatish, so I put a set of glass packs on. Well those sounded great (Smooth loud tone, I imagine similar to the stingers) but I had a rattle so I decided to go with the SLP resonator.
Quieted it down a LOT more than I expected. Also it hangs a little low (About the same as my glasspacks) so there will be a little extra scrapage if you are lowered.
It'll definatly quiet you down and smooth out the tone if that's what you are looking for

Thanks for the reply.. First person Ive heard comment on the x-pipe.
One thing the X-pipe does really well is knock the volume of sound down. I would say as much as 20% or more depending on the system on your car. Some systems need them and some don't. If you like the tone but want to turn the volume down, install an X-pipe. For a lot less money you can open the hole in the H-pipe. I would try that first and then the X-pipe.
