Ok. Upgraded to '04 Z06 shocks and T-1 bars. Some squeaking and clanking but after some adjustments and re-greasing the bushings it's perfect. Runs like it's on rails now, I love it. Should have handled like this to begin with, that F45 set up sucks. Anyway, my S03's are worn out. I have new Goodyear F-1 GS D3's coming. I lowered the car an inch also. My question is what are the alignment specs after you lower the car?Are Z06 specs too agressive? It's my daily driver so I want good wear versus an agressive set up.
Suggest you go to a custom alignment shop and tell them how you drive and what results you want. I used Northstar in Mountain View and they set me up for aggressive driving (mountain roads) but maintain good tire wear as mine is a daily driver too.
The alignment specs don't change after lowering...you just have to choose how aggressive you want the car to be.
I think, f'r example, factory camber is set neutral to negative 1 degree...and for more aggressive, Iv'e seen anywhere from minus-1.5 to minus-3 recommended, and all the toe-in she'll handle...
The guys over in AutoX and Roadracing might have a better idea. They can eyeball half a degree...
