Right turning/running light out
This morning I notice that when I use my right turn signal on my 1997 C5 it blinks rapidly. It seems as though my front turn signal light is out. Is it just a matter of changing the bulb or is there more too it? I also noticed I got a service vehicle soon. Can having a bad bulb create that? These electronics drive me batty sometimes on this car. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Had exactly the same prob on my '98 over the fourth weekend. Replaced the bulb and all is well. It does throw you off to hear that rapid blinking at first, but makes for a good problem indicator.

Had same problem with my 2000FRC- Only I'd keep blowing blub every time I washed car- Finnally solved problem by installing new blub with silicon electric grease on blub base - it waterproofed the connections - no more blown blubs-
