The entire SuperMaxx system is on my car too, but I have an extra SuperMaxx X-pipe that is brand new from a previous purchase that is for sale.
Price $195 plus shipping from 40222.
My systems sounds like I wanted the car to sound from the factory and had a big time perfomance improvement.
The X-pipe and Magnaflows without the headers and high flow cats, woulc be a good alternative for much less money. Or do the whole system in stages to lessen the $ hit all at once.
I just installed the Bassani in my Z with my factory Ti exhaust. The popping is much less and the new sound is hard to describe. For one, it is MUCH smoother sounding. The volume is the same, but the exhaust note has changed to a kind of tone at certain rpm's. Sounds like you're running through a power band. The tone comes in at around 1500 and fades at 2500 or so. Sounds really cool!!! Almost exotic, but all vette!!! Hope this helps.
Installed the Bassani X-pipe to my GHL Bullets. Stopped 90% of the
"popping", smoothed out the tone, but didn't take away my "snarl"
when you get on it. Quality and fit are first class. Approx. $230
online. Very satisfied.
I'm going with the Magnaflow X-pipe...I liked the look of the construction of the unit. It's being "mixed" with the Corsa Tiger Sharks as I preferred that look also. My objective was not loud as much as cosmetic...Now the dilema is whether or not to get the pipes Jet plated???? Anyway, that's my .02
